Spectral Voice
Necrotic Doom

Listening notes

Spectral Voice's *Necrotic Doom* arrived in 2017 through Dark Descent Records, catalogued as DDR150LP. The release brings together death metal, doom metal, and rock across its documented vinyl format, presenting three tracks on the A-side that together account for just over twenty-one minutes of material.

The tracklist opens with "Rotting Auras" at six minutes and fifty-one seconds, followed by "Horrid Phantasm" at six minutes and thirty-one seconds. The third and longest entry, "Diffluence Of Ruined Graves," runs to an even eight minutes. The sequence suggests a deliberate pacing, with the final track extending the runtime beyond either of its predecessors, though what conclusions to draw from that structure is a matter the listener will have to settle independently.

Dark Descent Records, the Colorado-based label behind the release, has built a catalog oriented around underground extreme metal, and *Necrotic Doom* carries catalog number DDR150LP within that body of work. The vinyl format places the release within a physical medium that remains significant to collectors and listeners working in these genres, though nothing in the verified facts here speaks to pressing specifics, variants, or production particulars.

Spectral Voice is a Colorado-based band operating in the overlapping territory that the genre tags here confirm: death metal and doom metal, with rock listed as an additional classification. The combination is consistent with a style that draws on the slower, heavier end of extreme metal, though any more detailed characterization of the music itself falls outside what the available facts support.

*Necrotic Doom* stands as a 2017 vinyl release from Dark Descent Records. Readers seeking additional detail on personnel, recording circumstances, or pressing information should consult sources beyond what is documented here.
