Stephen Cummings — A Life Is A Life (The Vinyl Anthology) — Bloodlines, BLOODLP44, 2019

Released in 2019 on the Bloodlines label, A Life Is A Life (The Vinyl Anthology) is a double LP anthology collecting twenty-five tracks drawn from across Stephen Cummings's recorded career. Catalogued as BLOODLP44, the release is classified under acoustic, indie rock, pop, and rock genres, suggesting a body of work that spans more than one mode of songwriting.

The set is spread across four sides. Side A opens with "What Am I Going To Do" and moves through "Gymnasium," "I Can't Face The Day," "Speak With Frankness," "Some Prayers Are Answered," and the lengthily titled "Everybody Wants To Get To Heaven But Nobody Wants To Die." Side B carries six further tracks, including the title track "A Life Is A Life" at position B2, alongside "She Set Fire To The House," "Your House Is Falling," "When Love Comes Back To Haunt You," "Blue Hour," and "Keep The Ball Rolling."

Side C and Side D complete the collection. Side C includes "White Noise," "Fell From A Great Height," "Pretty Big Crush," "Wishing Machine," "Because It's Spring," and "Love Is Mighty Close To You." Side D runs to seven tracks — one more than any other side — closing with "Great Stereo" and "A Joy To Sit Alone."

Track durations are not documented in the available data. No personnel, production credits, or pressing details have been confirmed for this entry at time of writing, and those fields should be verified before publication. The anthology format and the breadth of the tracklist — twenty-five songs across four sides — indicate an intent to survey Cummings's output in some depth, though the selection criteria have not been confirmed from available sources.
