Thee Michelle Gun Elephant
7inch Vinyl Box

Listening notes

Released in 1999 on Triad Records, the 7inch Vinyl Box by Thee Michelle Gun Elephant is a boxed set collecting six 7-inch singles under the catalog numbers COKA-48 through COKA-53. Filed under punk and rock, the set spans twelve individually labeled sides — A through L — presenting a range of titles across its six discs.

The tracklist moves through titles including "World's End (Smash Hits Version)" backed with "King," "Candy House" paired with "Automatic (Transistor Version)," "Lily" with "Sl(thr)ow," "The Birdmen" with "Romantic (Turkey Brunch Version)," "G.W.D" with "Sick On You," and "Out Blues" closing the set alongside "Soda Pressing." Several of the titles carry parenthetical version names — Smash Hits Version, Transistor Version, Turkey Brunch Version — suggesting these are not straightforward reissues of single edits but distinct renderings of the material, though the nature of those differences is not documented here.

The catalog numbering runs consecutively across the six discs, implying the set was issued as a unified package rather than a repackaging of separately released singles, though this should be confirmed by a fact checker before publication.

The box format itself is notable as a physical object: six 7-inch records, sides labeled alphabetically, issued under a single umbrella release through Triad. No durations are available for any of the twelve tracks in the verified data. Personnel, production credits, and pressing details are likewise absent from the confirmed information and have been omitted here accordingly.
