Thee Oh Sees
Grave Blockers EP

Listening notes

Thee Oh Sees released the Grave Blockers EP in 2010 through Rock Is Hell Records, carrying the catalog number RIP07X. The release is formatted as a vinyl package spanning four sides, with tracks spread across what the format designation describes as "All Media," suggesting a multi-component release, though the precise configuration beyond the four-sided vinyl layout is not detailed in the available information.

The eight-track listing covers sides A through D. The A-side opens with "I Agree" and continues with the title track, "Grave Blocker." Side B contains "Burning Bridges" and "Cunny Sharms." The C-side presents "I Am Slow (Demo)" — the tracklist's only explicitly labeled demo — alongside "The Great Crush." The D-side closes the record with "Drone #3" and "Drone #4," titles that suggest a different character from the preceding tracks, though no additional information about their nature is available to verify.

The inclusion of a demo and two numbered drone pieces across the four sides gives the tracklist a varied internal logic, at least on paper, with the sequencing moving from what appear to be conventional song titles toward more abstract designations by the final side. Whether this reflects a deliberate structural choice cannot be confirmed from the available facts alone.

Rock Is Hell Records issued the release under the genres of Garage Rock and Rock. Thee Oh Sees, a San Francisco-based act known for prolific output during this period, had been releasing material steadily in the years surrounding this EP. Beyond those general contextual points, no specific recording, personnel, or production details are available for verification here, and none have been assumed.

Duration information for individual tracks is not available for this release.
