Trash Taste
Trash Taste 5th Anniversary Vinyl

Listening notes

Released in 2025 under the Trash Taste label, the Trash Taste 5th Anniversary Vinyl marks a notable entry in the spoken word and comedy categories of the vinyl format. The release carries no catalog number and spans two sides, presenting content drawn from the podcast's origins alongside newly recorded material from its three hosts.

Side A contains the first part of the pilot episode, while Side B opens with the second part before giving way to three individual spoken word tracks — a special message from Garnt, a special message from Joey, and a special message from Connor, each credited separately in the tracklist. The sequencing places the archival pilot content first and closes with the personal messages, a structure that foregrounds the show's beginnings before offering reflections from each host in turn.

As a non-music release, the record sits within a small but established tradition of spoken word and comedy vinyl, genres with their own collector communities and reference points. Podcast content pressed to vinyl remains relatively uncommon, and anniversary editions of any kind typically signal a deliberate commemorative intent on the part of the issuing party — though no additional release context is available to confirm the edition's scope, availability, or distribution.

Track durations are not listed for any selection on the release. No pressing details, matrix information, or production credits are included in the available documentation.

This is an unreviewed draft. All claims above are drawn from the supplied tracklist and metadata only. A fact checker should verify host full names, confirm whether additional pressing variants exist, and source any release context before publication.
