Twisted Sister
Limited Edition 4 Vinyl Set

Listening notes

Back On Black issued this four-LP set under catalog number BOBV427LP in 2015, bringing together four distinct Twisted Sister titles on vinyl. The package spans the glam and hard rock genres the band occupied and draws from meaningfully different phases and contexts of the group's recorded output.

The first disc is Under The Blade, the band's debut album, presented here alongside a side of material labeled as Ruff Cutts versions — alternate takes of tracks including "What You Don't Know (Sure Can Hurt You)," "Shoot 'Em Down," "Under The Blade," and a version of "Leader Of The Pack." A live recording of "Shoot 'Em Down" credited to Reading also appears on that disc. The second LP is You Can't Stop Rock 'N' Roll, the band's second album, its tracklist running across two sides and including titles such as "The Kids Are Back," "I Am (I'm Me)," and the title track. The third record is Club Daze Volume II, a compilation drawing on earlier material, with two tracks noted specifically as 2001 recordings alongside older titles; the set closes with covers of "Long Tall Sally," "Johnny B. Goode," and material from across the band's pre-major-label catalog. The fourth LP is Live At Hammersmith, a concert recording spread across four sides that includes performances of songs drawn from multiple studio albums, closing with covers of "Jailhouse Rock" and "Train Kept A-Rollin'."

The set is cataloged in the format listing as All Media alongside four vinyl designations. Track timings are not listed in the available data.
