Listening notes

Udo Lindenberg's MTV Unplugged - Live Aus Dem Hotel Atlantic arrived on vinyl in 2021 through Warner Music Central Europe under the designation Atlantic Suite Limited Vinyl Edition, carrying catalog number 5054197-1146-0-1. The release is categorized across the genres of acoustic, pop, rock, and symphonic rock.

The edition spreads across six sides of vinyl, labeled A through F, accommodating twenty-four tracks in total. Side A opens with "Die Bühne Ist Angerichtet" at four minutes and twelve seconds and continues through "Mein Ding," "Er Wollte Nach London," and "Gegen Die Strömung." Side B carries "No Future," the set's longest entry on that side at five minutes and fifty-eight seconds, alongside "Leider Nur Ein Vakuum," "Good Life City," and "Ich Lieb Dich Überhaupt Nicht Mehr." Sides C and D each hold four tracks, progressing through material including "Wozu Sind Kriege Da," "Das Leben," "Was Hat Die Zeit Mit Uns Gemacht," and "Reeperbahn 2011 (What It's Like)."

The final two sides, E and F, bring the program to a close with some of its more extended pieces. Side E includes "Horizont" at six minutes and seventeen seconds, the single longest track across the entire release. Side F closes with "Candy Jane" at six minutes and seven seconds, followed by "Alles Klar Auf Der Andrea Doria," "Goodbye Sailor," and the concluding "Ich Schwöre."

Across all six sides, total runtime runs well past two hours, making this a substantial multi-disc vinyl package. The tracklist reflects a broad spread of material, with individual track lengths ranging from just over two and a half minutes to more than six.
