Flying Vinyl: April 2016

Listening notes

Flying Vinyl: April 2016 is a box set released by Flying Vinyl (2) in 2016, catalogued as Issue 11. The release presents ten tracks spread across multiple vinyl records, with each side carrying a single track — a format that gives each song its own dedicated space on the physical medium.

The tracklist opens with "All My Pride" on the A-side and moves through "On Your Time," "Summer," "Mandala," "Baby's Alright," "Meat Somebody," "Crowing Youth," "New Ends," and "Sometimes," before closing on the J-side with "Gone Forever." No artist attributions for individual tracks are included in the verified data accompanying this release, so it is not possible to confirm which acts correspond to which recordings. The release is categorized under the genres of Indie Rock and Rock.

Flying Vinyl operated as a subscription-based service, and this April 2016 edition represents their eleventh issue. The box set format places it within a model of curated, physical music discovery that was gaining renewed interest during this period as vinyl sales continued to climb. Beyond those structural facts, track durations are not documented in the available data.

This is an unreviewed draft. The absence of artist-to-track mapping, track durations, and any supplementary liner notes in the source data means that several fields a collector or researcher might expect — including personnel, pressing details, and individual artist credits — cannot be confirmed here and have been omitted accordingly. A fact checker should verify artist attributions before publication.
