Flying Vinyl: April 2019

Listening notes

Flying Vinyl: April 2019 marks Issue 50 of the Flying Vinyl subscription series, released in 2019 on the Flying Vinyl label. The release is catalogued under the Rock genre and presents ten tracks spread across four vinyl records, with each side housing a single track identified by letter positions A through J.

The tracklist moves through ten titles: "Never Let Go," "Future," "Be Mine," "Peachy Keen," "Rat In A Cage," "Nuclear Love," "English Disease," "Charades," "Tell Me," and "Weird Cool." The four-record format, with one track per side, is a structural choice that gives each selection its own dedicated side rather than grouping multiple tracks together.

Issue 50 represents a milestone number within the Flying Vinyl series, which operated as a subscription service delivering new music on vinyl. The April 2019 release date places this issue within that ongoing run. No artist credits for individual tracks are listed in the available data, and the release is catalogued under the artist designation Various, consistent with the compilation nature of the series.

Track durations are not documented in the available information. The four-record configuration accounts for the ten lettered sides, with the final record carrying sides I and J.

As a subscription-based compilation falling under the Rock genre, the release reflects the format Flying Vinyl used to bring together multiple acts within a single issue. Beyond what the catalog data confirms — label, issue number, year, format, and tracklist — further details about the contributing artists, recording origins, or production are not available in the verified facts and have been omitted from this draft.
