Flying Vinyl: August 2019

Listening notes

Flying Vinyl: August 2019 is Issue 54 in the ongoing series released by Flying Vinyl (2), appearing in 2019. The release is catalogued within the Indie Rock and Rock genres and arrives in a multi-disc vinyl format, with the tracklist spread across ten sides designated A through J, suggesting a configuration of five separate records.

The ten tracks collected here are "Extra Terrestrial," "W.Y.N.A," "Sidewalk," "On The Radio," "Exoskeleton," "Propaganda Machine," "Anything You Want," "Honey, I'm Around," "Barely Breathing," and "Under My Skin." No artist attributions, track durations, or additional personnel details are available in the verified data for this release, which is a notable gap for researchers attempting to identify individual contributors or contextualize the selections within specific careers or catalogs.

Flying Vinyl operated as a subscription-based service delivering exclusive vinyl releases to members, and Issue 54 represents one installment within that numbered run. The August 2019 dating places it within a period when such subscription vinyl models were actively serving collector and enthusiast audiences, though no further detail about the specific circumstances of this issue's production or distribution can be confirmed from the available facts.

As a compilation drawing from the Indie Rock and Rock umbrella, the release brings together ten tracks across its spread of sides, though without confirmed artist credits attached to each track in the source data, the full picture of what this particular issue assembled remains incomplete. Prospective researchers and collectors should treat the absent attribution data as an open question pending further documentation.
