Flying Vinyl: June 2017

Listening notes

Flying Vinyl: June 2017 arrived as Issue 25 of the Flying Vinyl subscription series, released on the Flying Vinyl (2) label in 2017. The box set compiles ten tracks across multiple vinyl records, with each track occupying its own side, running from side A through side J. The release falls within the indie rock and rock genres.

The ten tracks collected here are "Waste Of Time," "Johnny," "Late At Night," "What's Your Number," "What You Want," "Get Off," "Take Me Back," "Love You Still," "Look The Other Way," and "I'm Like You." No track durations are documented in the available data, and artist attributions for individual tracks are not confirmed in the verified record, so they are not listed here.

The format itself reflects the approach Flying Vinyl took with its subscription model: packaging new music from various artists into a physical box set delivered to subscribers. Issue 25 represents a milestone in the series, being the twenty-fifth edition of that ongoing release program. The various artists format, common across subscription curations of this kind, means the set functions as a snapshot of activity within the indie rock and rock space as it stood in June 2017.

No additional information regarding pressing details, personnel, recording origins, or the individual contributors behind each track can be confirmed from the available data. Researchers and collectors seeking artist-specific credits for any of the ten tracks are advised to consult supplementary documentation or contact the label directly before treating those details as established.
