Flying Vinyl: March 2016

Listening notes

Flying Vinyl: March 2016, catalogued as Issue 10 and released on the Flying Vinyl label, is a box set compilation spanning the alternative rock, indie rock, and rock genres. The release arrived in 2016 and presents ten tracks across a multi-disc vinyl format, with each side of each record dedicated to a single track — a structural choice that gives every selection its own dedicated space on the format.

The tracklist moves through a varied set of titles: "Paraffin," "Satellite," "Making Eyes," "On My Mind," "Getting Young," "Daibutsu," "In The Morning," "Basketholder," "Ignorance," and "Run." No artist attribution for individual tracks is included in the available documentation, and no track durations are listed, meaning the full scope of each individual contribution cannot be confirmed from the verified record alone.

Flying Vinyl operated as a subscription-based service during this period, and this release carries the Issue 10 designation, situating it within that ongoing series. The box set format is consistent with that model, packaging multiple records together under a single catalog entry. The label is listed specifically as Flying Vinyl (2), a distinction that may be relevant for collectors cross-referencing catalog data.

Because personnel, pressing details, and individual artist credits are not confirmed in the available information, this entry should be treated as a structural reference point rather than a comprehensive discographic account. Researchers and collectors seeking full artist attribution or technical pressing data will need to consult additional primary sources before those details can be reported accurately here.
