Flying Vinyl: November 2015

Listening notes

Flying Vinyl: November 2015 is a various-artists box set released in 2015 on the Flying Vinyl label, catalogued as Issue 6. The release presents ten tracks spread across what the format listing describes as multiple vinyl discs, with individual tracks occupying single sides — positions A through J — suggesting a configuration of five records housed together in a single package.

The genres associated with the release are Alternative Rock, Indie Rock, and Rock, placing it broadly within guitar-oriented contemporary music as it stood in 2015. The tracklist includes "Corrine," "Mothership," "Missing Persons," "Joy In A Small Wage," "Voices," "Looking At You," "Tangerine Flake," "Live Fast Or Die," "Go," and "Dreamer To The Dawn." No artist attributions, track durations, or additional personnel information are available in the verified data for this release.

Flying Vinyl operated as a subscription service, and this box set represents the sixth issue under that model, timed to November 2015. The subscription format, in which curated vinyl selections are delivered to subscribers on a recurring basis, is reflected in the issue-number cataloguing system rather than a conventional alphanumeric catalog reference.

Beyond what is documented here — the label, issue number, year, format, genre classifications, and tracklist positions — no further verified details are available regarding the artists involved, the circumstances of the recordings, or the nature of the subscription offering at that time. Researchers and collectors seeking additional information about the specific acts represented on each side or the broader context of Flying Vinyl's 2015 catalog should consult supplementary sources. This entry should be reviewed and expanded by a fact checker with access to documentation not reflected in the current verified data.
