Flying Vinyl: November 2019

Listening notes

Flying Vinyl: November 2019, catalogued as Issue 57, is a box set compilation released in 2019 on the Flying Vinyl (2) label. The release falls within the Alternative Rock and Rock genres and arrives formatted as a multi-vinyl box set comprising three vinyl records housed together.

The tracklist spans ten sides, each carrying a single track. Side A presents "Across The Border," followed by "Electric Stock" on Side B. Side C carries "Good Girls Bad Things," with "Blueheart" occupying Side D. "Perform For You" appears on Side E, and "My Baby Lungs" follows on Side F. Side G features "White Sky," while "You and Me Baby" fills Side H. "Ankle Deep" appears on Side I, and the box set closes on Side J with "Petrol Head (Live)," the sole track on this release identified as a live recording.

As with other entries in the Flying Vinyl series, this issue is a compilation drawing from various artists, though specific artist attributions per track are not detailed in the available documentation. The one-track-per-side configuration across three records is consistent with the box set format, giving each selection its own dedicated space on wax. The inclusion of a live version of "Petrol Head" on the final side marks a minor structural distinction within the tracklist.

This entry represents the fifty-seventh issue in the Flying Vinyl series, placing it within a run of monthly subscription-style releases the label issued during this period. The November 2019 dating situates it toward the end of that calendar year. No duration information is available for any of the ten tracks in the current documentation.
