Flying Vinyl: October 2019

Listening notes

Flying Vinyl: October 2019 is Issue 56 in the ongoing box set series released by Flying Vinyl (2) in 2019. The release is catalogued under the rock genre and arrives in a multi-disc vinyl box set format, comprising enough individual records to accommodate twelve tracks spread across sides A through J.

The tracklist opens with two tracks on the first record: "Belicoso" on the A-side and "Sleeper" on the B-side, followed by "Adelante" and a Strange Bones remix of "Belicoso" rounding out that disc. The inclusion of the remix alongside its source track on the same record is a structural choice worth noting for anyone cataloguing the release. From the third record onward, each side carries a single track: "Fire In Your Soul," "In My Heart," "Still Need It," "Strike," "Lullaby," "Velvet," "Two Sense," and "Lennox Hill" occupy sides C through J respectively.

No track durations are documented for this release. The various artists format is consistent with the subscription-style curation that defined the Flying Vinyl series, which packaged new music from emerging acts into monthly box sets for subscribers. As Issue 56, this October 2019 edition represents a late entry in the series' run.

Because no personnel credits, pressing details, or reception data are available in verified sources, this entry is limited to what the release's documented structure can confirm. Researchers and collectors consulting this record should treat the tracklist and format information as the reliable foundation for this entry, and seek supplementary sources for artist attribution on individual tracks.
