Flying Vinyl: September 2015

Listening notes

Flying Vinyl: September 2015, catalogued as Issue 4 on the Flying Vinyl (2) label, is a vinyl box set released in 2015 spanning genres of Alternative Rock, Indie Rock, and Rock. As the fourth installment in the Flying Vinyl series, it continues the subscription-based model the label used to deliver new and emerging music directly to collectors on vinyl format.

The release is structured across multiple records, with tracks assigned to individual sides rather than grouped by disc in any way the available data makes explicit. The ten tracks — "She Won't Ghost," "Shallow," "World's Too Fast," "She Was Crying," "Kistune," "Patterns," "All My Love," "Baby I'm Blue," "Deep Blue Skies," and "Beautiful Faces" — are distributed across sides A through J, suggesting the set contains five individual records. Track durations are not documented in the available information.

The box set format is a defining characteristic of the Flying Vinyl release model, presenting curated selections from artists working within the broad Alternative and Indie Rock space. Beyond the tracklisting and format details, artist attribution for individual tracks is not specified in the verified data, and no personnel, label notes, or production credits are available to report here.

As Issue 4, this release represents an early entry in the Flying Vinyl catalogue, falling within the label's 2015 output. Collectors interested in this set should be aware that track-level artist identification and durations remain unconfirmed in this entry and would benefit from supplementary documentation or label correspondence before those fields can be completed with confidence.
