Flying Vinyl: September 2018

Listening notes

Flying Vinyl's September 2018 box set arrives as Issue 40 of the subscription series, released on the Flying Vinyl label. The format consists of multiple vinyl records packaged together as a box set, catalogued under the Alternative Rock and Rock genres.

The release spreads ten tracks across ten individual sides, labeled A through J, a configuration that gives each track its own dedicated side. The tracklist opens with "Plant Trees" and "False/Blue" before moving through "Suburbs" and "Pop-Ups (Sunny At The Weekend)." The sequence continues with "Egg Hunt," "Bad Saliva," and "You Call That Rock And Roll," before closing out with "Eleven Days," "Danube," and "Drowning In Your Velvet Bed." No track durations are documented in the available catalog data.

As a various artists compilation, the set aggregates multiple contributors under the Flying Vinyl subscription model, which the label used to deliver new and emerging music directly to subscribers on a monthly basis. Issue 40 represents the September 2018 installment of that ongoing series.

The box set format, with its one-track-per-side structure spread across what the catalog lists as three vinyl records, is a defining structural characteristic of this release. The range of track titles across the ten sides suggests variety within the Alternative Rock and Rock framing the label applied to the issue.

No additional personnel, pressing, or production information is present in the verified catalog data for this release. Collectors and researchers consulting this entry should treat the above as a structural and contextual summary based solely on available documentation, pending further verification.
