Flying Vinyl: September 2019

Listening notes

Flying Vinyl: September 2019 is the fifty-fifth issue of the Flying Vinyl subscription series, released in 2019 on the Flying Vinyl (2) label. The release carries the catalog number Issue 55 and is listed under the genres of Indie Rock and Rock. The format is noted as vinyl across multiple records, consistent with the subscription box model the label operated under.

The set comprises ten tracks spread across sides A through J, suggesting a multi-record configuration. The tracklist opens with "Dead Fridays" on the A-side and closes with "Past Tense" on the J-side, a title that also appears on the D-side — the only instance of a title appearing twice across the ten listed positions. Whether these represent the same recording or distinct versions is not indicated by the available information. Notably, the H-side carries "Pale Moonlight (Demo)," which is explicitly designated as a demo recording, distinguishing it from the other tracks on the release.

The remaining tracks — "Mirror and Me," "Collide," "Heartshaker," "Adversary," "Uptown," and "Strange to Know Nothing" — round out a collection that, per the genre tags, sits within the broader indie rock and rock space. Artist attributions for individual tracks are not provided in the available data, and no durations are listed for any of the ten selections.

As a subscription issue rather than a conventional album release, this record exists within a format designed around discovery and curation. The facts on hand do not extend to personnel, pressing details, or individual artist credits, and a human reviewer should verify those particulars before this entry is considered complete.
