Listening notes

Released in 2008 on Vinyl Japan (catalog number JASKCD 214), "Vinyl Japan Calling Again: The Official Method Of Klub Dancing Vol.2" is a various artists compilation issued in CD format. The release is catalogued under the genres of psychobilly, rockabilly, and rock, and represents the second volume in the label's Klub Dancing series.

The compilation is spread across two discs, with disc one containing twenty-three tracks and disc two containing twenty-four, for a combined total of forty-seven tracks. The sheer volume of material positions this as an expansive survey release within its genre categories rather than a tightly curated short-form collection. No track durations are documented in the available data.

Disc one opens with "Go Go Honey" and moves through titles including "Part Time Punks," "Have Love Will Travel," "Shaking That Boogie," and "Shut Up And Drink Your Beer," closing out with "B29 (Droppin' Bombs On Your Heart)." Disc two begins with "Billy Graham" and includes titles such as "Bank Holiday Weekend," "I Shot The Sheriff," "Palisades Park," and "Jimmy Pursey's Bastard Son," concluding with "Rocket Love."

Several track titles carry a playful or irreverent character consistent with the broader conventions of psychobilly and rockabilly presentation. The series title's reference to "Klub Dancing" and the word "method" in the subtitle suggest a framing around DJ or club use, though no further documentation on this point is available to confirm intent or context.

No personnel, licensing, or liner note information is available in the verified record. Fact checker should confirm artist attributions for individual tracks, label ownership details, and any supplementary credits before publication.
