Warning Vinyl Fanzine

Listening notes

Warning Vinyl Fanzine is a four-track vinyl release issued in 2007 on Warning Records under the catalog number WARNING 001. The compilation draws from across the hardcore, noise, punk, and rock genres, presenting two tracks per side in a standard A/B configuration.

Side A opens with "Fortune Favors The Brave" followed by "Covert Killers," while Side B carries "State Of Will" and closes with "Fuck The U.S.A." The track titles suggest an orientation toward confrontational subject matter consistent with the broader traditions of hardcore and punk, though the specific artists behind each track are not identified in the available documentation.

The release arrives under the fanzine format designation, a presentation that situates it within a longer DIY publishing and distribution tradition in underground music. Fanzine-associated vinyl releases have historically served as documents of local or scene-specific activity, functioning as both music vehicles and statements of community identity, though no specific claims about this release's context or intent are made here beyond what the format itself implies.

Warning Records, listed here as the third entity operating under that name, issued this as its inaugural catalog entry, making WARNING 001 the label's first documented release. No additional label discography is referenced in the available facts.

Track durations are not listed in the available data, and no personnel, production, or pressing details have been confirmed for this entry. Readers and collectors seeking further documentation on contributing artists, pressing information, or related releases are encouraged to consult supplementary sources.
