Warren Haynes Presents: The Benefit Concert Volume 20 - Vinyl Set Vol 1

Listening notes

Warren Haynes Presents: The Benefit Concert Volume 20 — Vinyl Set Vol 1 arrives on Provogue Records (catalog number PRD77171) as a 2023 vinyl release spanning two records and four sides. Filed under blues and rock, the set is the first vinyl volume drawn from what the title identifies as the twentieth installment in Haynes's long-running Benefit Concert series.

The tracklist across the four sides is notably wide-ranging in its song selections. Side A opens with "Greenpoint" and moves through "Pepper," "In Color," and Merle Haggard's "I Think I'll Just Stay Here and Drink." Side B carries "Medicine," "The Lion, the Beast, the Beat," "A New Life," and "State of the Art (A.E.I.O.U.)." Side C includes "Sweet Emotion," "Pendulum," "Record Year," and "Ain't Wasting Time No More." Side D closes the set with "Spanish Boots," the Cream-associated "SWLABR," and a paired medley listed as "Tea for One > I Can't Quit You Baby."

The designation "Vol 1" in the title indicates that additional vinyl volumes from the same source recording may exist or were planned, though what those releases contain falls outside the scope of this volume's documented tracklist.

Because track durations are not listed in the available data, the total runtime of the set cannot be stated here. Interested parties should verify personnel, recording circumstances, and any additional release information through Provogue's official documentation or supplementary liner materials accompanying the physical release.
