Warren Haynes Presents: The Benefit Concert Volume 20 Vinyl Set Vol 3

Listening notes

Released on Provogue Records (catalog number PRD77191) in 2023, this vinyl set is catalogued under the genres of Rock and Southern Rock. It is the third volume drawn from the twentieth installment of Warren Haynes's long-running Benefit Concert series, a charitable event Haynes has organized annually.

The set spans four sides across what the tracklist positions indicate is a multi-disc configuration. Side A opens with "Just Before The Bullets Fly," followed by "One" and "Paris (Ooh La La)." Side B carries five tracks: "I've Seen A Love," "Ray Ray's Juke Joint," "Victim," "Smoke A Little Smoke," and "The Weight." Side C includes "Here In Spirit," "Red Baron," and "Soulshine," along with a track listed without a side position, "Dark Side Of The Mule." Side D closes the set with "Us And Them," "Any Colour You Like," and "Welcome To The Machine."

Several of the titles on Side D will be immediately recognizable to listeners familiar with Pink Floyd's catalogue, suggesting the concert from which this volume is drawn included a substantial tribute segment or set dedicated to that band's material. "The Weight," appearing on Side B, is a well-known song associated with The Band. No track durations are provided in the available data.

This release represents one component of a larger document of the twentieth Benefit Concert, with at least two other volumes also issued. The label, Provogue, is a Netherlands-based imprint with an established history of releasing rock and blues material on vinyl. No additional personnel, recording, or production details are confirmed in the available data and have been omitted from this draft accordingly.
