Vinyl i Parken '22

Listening notes

Released in 2022 on Vinylkultur Rekords, "Vinyl i Parken '22" is a two-track vinyl release credited to Webstrarna and Black Fur Sessions, carrying the catalog number VKU03. The record sits within the pop and rock genres, offering a brief but focused pairing of tracks on a single side configuration.

The release opens with "En Dålig Dag I Himlen" at position AA, running four minutes and twenty-seven seconds, followed by "Different Animal" at position A, clocking in at three minutes and nineteen seconds. The sequencing, with AA preceding A, is worth noting as an atypical labeling choice that collectors and listeners may find of interest when handling the physical release.

Together, the two tracks account for just under eight minutes of material, making this a concise release by any measure. The combination of a Swedish-language title in "En Dålig Dag I Himlen" alongside the English-language "Different Animal" reflects a bilingual dimension to the project, though what that means for the music itself is a matter for the listener to discover.

As the third release on Vinylkultur Rekords, identified by catalog number VKU03, "Vinyl i Parken '22" sits within what appears to be a relatively young label's early catalog. The title's reference to 2022 and a park setting suggests a connection to a live or outdoor event of some kind, though the nature of that connection is not confirmed by available information.

For collectors interested in small-label vinyl releases from this period, or in the artists involved, this record represents a documented entry in the catalogs of both Webstrarna and Black Fur Sessions. Further details regarding personnel, production, and the circumstances of the release would need to be verified through additional sources.
