Yes
Treasures (A Vinyl Collection)

Listening notes

Released in 2019 on Ear Music Classics (catalog number 0214465EMX), Treasures (A Vinyl Collection) is a box set from Yes drawing on material from across several distinct phases of the band's catalog. The set spans prog rock and rock and is notable for its sheer scope, combining vinyl records with compact disc duplicates of a portion of the content.

The box set draws from at least four sources. The first is The Ladder, the band's 1999 studio album, represented here across sides A through D. The second is House Of Yes: Live From House Of Blues, a live recording that fills sides E through J and is also duplicated across two CDs included in the set. The third is Magnification, the band's 2001 studio album, occupying sides K through M. The fourth is Symphonic Live, a live recording spread across sides N through Q.

The tracklist across the vinyl portions runs to considerable length. The House Of Yes live segment alone accounts for ten vinyl tracks, several of them extended, including a 17:34 reading of "Awaken" on side I and a 13:03 version of "Yours Is No Disgrace" opening side E. The Symphonic Live portion, sides N through Q, carries no track durations in the available documentation.

The CD component mirrors the House Of Yes: Live From House Of Blues program exactly, spread across two discs. Titles familiar from Yes's broader catalog appear throughout, including "Roundabout," "And You And I," "Close To The Edge," and "Owner Of A Lonely Heart."
