Ymir (2)
Ymir

Listening notes

Ymir (2) released this self-titled record on Werewolf Records in 2021, carrying the catalog number EVIL-069LP. The release is classified under the genres of black metal and rock, and the format is vinyl.

The record is divided across two sides. Side A opens with "Pagan Mysticism," followed by "Silvery Howling," and closes with the title track "Ymir." Side B presents "Frostland Conqueror," then "Winterstorms," and concludes with "Resurrection Of Pagan Fire." No track durations are documented in the available data.

The six track titles collectively suggest a thematic orientation toward wintry, pagan, and mythological subject matter, which is not uncommon territory within black metal as a genre. The name Ymir itself is drawn from Norse mythology, where it refers to the primordial giant whose body, according to the Prose Edda, was used by the gods to form the world. Whether this mythological reference is intentional on the part of the artist is not confirmed by the available facts and should not be assumed.

Werewolf Records, the issuing label, has historically been associated with black metal releases, though editorial characterization of the label's broader catalog or reputation should be verified independently before publication.

Track durations are absent from the data, meaning the total runtime of the record cannot be calculated or stated here. Personnel, recording location, production credits, and pressing details are likewise not available in the provided information and have been omitted accordingly.
