Zucchero
Studio Vinyl Collection

Listening notes

Released in 2016 on Universal (catalog number 0602557121797), the Studio Vinyl Collection brings together fourteen studio albums from Italian artist Zucchero in a single vinyl package, alongside two seven-inch singles. The set spans work catalogued under genres including blues, blues rock, funk, soul, pop, pop rock, and rock, reflecting the range of styles associated with Zucchero's recorded output.

The fourteen LPs run from his debut, Un Po' di Zucchero, through to Black Cat, taking in titles such as Zucchero & The Randy Jackson Band, Rispetto, Blue's, Oro Incenso & Birra, Miserere, Spirito DiVino, the double-LP Bluesugar, Shake, Fly, Chocabeck, and La Sesion Cubana. The progression across those titles accounts for a substantial portion of Zucchero's studio career as it stood at the time of this release.

The two singles included in the set carry their own tracklisting. The first presents "Senza Una Donna" on the A-side and "Non Ti Sopporto Più" on the B-side. The second pairs "Come Il Sole All'Improvviso" on the A-side with "Una Ragione Per Vivere" on the B-side.

The format is listed as vinyl, vinyl, all media, a designation that fact checkers should verify against the physical contents of the box, as the precise meaning of the third format component is not confirmed by the data available here. Track durations are not available for any disc in this release, and no personnel, pressing, or matrix information has been confirmed for this draft. Those details, along with any regional variation in content or packaging, should be established before this entry is considered complete.
