Black Vinyl Under Cover

Listening notes

à;GRUMH... released Black Vinyl Under Cover on Play It Again Sam Records in 1987, issued under catalog number BIAS 72. The record is a vinyl release catalogued under the genres of EBM, Electro, and Electronic, situating it within a label that was actively operating in those adjacent territories during the mid-to-late 1980s.

The album carries ten tracks spread across two sides. The A-side opens with "Bach Catalogue" and continues through "Hammam," "Generation," "R.L.P.K.," and "The Bumf (We Know What Life Is)." The B-side follows with "Countrol," "Yesterday," "The Drive," "M.D.A.," and closes with "An Island Called..." Track durations are not documented in the available data.

A few details about the record are worth noting for collectors and researchers. The title, Black Vinyl Under Cover, is self-referential in a literal sense, naming the physical format of the object itself. The band name, à;GRUMH..., includes punctuation characters as part of its official spelling, a detail that has historically caused inconsistencies in cataloguing and indexing. The label, Play It Again Sam Records, was a Belgian independent operation, and the BIAS prefix on the catalog number is consistent with that label's standard catalog formatting from the period.

No track durations are available in the verified data for this release. Personnel, recording locations, and production credits are not confirmed in the provided facts and are omitted here accordingly.

This draft is unreviewed and should be verified against physical copies, label documentation, and authoritative discographic sources before publication.
