Akufen
My Blue House

Listening notes

Akufen's My Blue House arrived in 2019 on Quartet Series, catalogued as QSB04. The release is a four-track vinyl record spanning two sides, placing it within the deep house and electronic genres that have long defined the Montreal-based producer's output.

Side A opens with the title track, "My Blue House," followed by "Forever In Love With You (To Camille)," a piece whose parenthetical dedication suggests a personal dimension to the material. Side B carries "You Look Delicious" and closes with "Play (Never Work Till Monday)," a title that carries its own implied commentary on leisure and labor.

Quartet Series, the imprint responsible for this release, frames the record as part of an ongoing body of work indicated by the sequential catalog numbering. QSB04 places My Blue House as the fourth entry in that sequence, situating it within a deliberate curatorial project rather than as a standalone release.

Track duration information is not confirmed for this release, and no additional personnel, production, or engineering credits are available in the verified data at hand. Prospective buyers and researchers seeking those specifics should consult the physical sleeve directly or cross-reference with the label.

What the confirmed facts do establish is a concise, self-contained vinyl release: four tracks, two sides, a named label home, and a catalog position that anchors it within a specific series. For collectors and researchers working from documented sources, My Blue House represents a 2019 Akufen release on Quartet Series and should be catalogued accordingly. Further annotation awaits corroboration from primary source materials.
