Analog Pussy
Vinyl Trax

Listening notes

Analog Pussy's *Vinyl Trax* was released in 2002 on AP Records (catalog number AP104) as a CD. Despite the title's nod to vinyl culture, the release exists in the CD format. It carries a notably broad range of genre tags — Electronic, Goa Trance, Psy-Trance, Tech House, Tech Trance, and Techno — suggesting the project drew from multiple strands of electronic music at the time of release.

The disc runs nine tracks, with total playing time distributed across extended cuts that reflect the demands of dance floor programming. The longest track, "Tails From The Crypt," runs nine minutes and fifty-three seconds, while "Ball Banger" follows at eight minutes and fifty-five seconds. Most remaining tracks fall in the eight-minute range, with "The Lion And The Witch" at five minutes and fifty-four seconds and "Discotek" at six minutes and one second standing as the shorter entries on the program. Track eight is identified as a remix — "Audio Santo (Remix)" at eight minutes and twelve seconds — indicating that at least one track on the release is a reworked version of existing material rather than an original composition.

The title sequence is notable for its varied naming approach, ranging from the straightforward ("Generator Man," "Death Roll") to the more oblique ("Hanging Myself Comfortably," "The Lion And The Witch"). Whether these titles carry thematic continuity across the release is not established by the available facts.

Collectors and researchers approaching this release should note that verified information beyond the tracklist, label, format, catalog number, and year of release is limited. Personnel, recording details, and any associated vinyl editions are not confirmed by the data on hand and should be independently verified before publication.
