Angels & Airwaves
2017 Hope Vinyl Collection

Listening notes

Released in 2017 on Tom DeLonge's To The Stars label, the Angels & Airwaves 2017 Hope Vinyl Collection (catalog number HOPE) is a multi-format box set gathering material from across the band's studio discography onto vinyl. The set is catalogued under a broad range of genres including Alternative Rock, Electronic, Pop Punk, Punk, Rock, Space Rock, and Synth-pop.

The tracklist is organized into discrete album-titled sections rather than a continuous sequence, with individual discs or sides corresponding to distinct releases. Represented titles include We Don't Need To Whisper, I-Empire, Love Part One, Love Part Two, The Dream Walker, Stomping the Phantom Brake Pedal, ...Of Nightmares, and Chasing Shadows EP. Side designations run from A through X, with certain letters absent from the sequence, suggesting the set spans multiple physical discs.

Beyond the core album tracks, the collection includes acoustic versions of "The Adventure" and "Good Day," positioned at H3 and H4 respectively, as well as a dedicated remix side running from T1 through T5, featuring reworked versions of tracks such as "Surrender," "Young London," "Anxiety," and "Saturday Love." The Stomping the Phantom Brake Pedal section, occupying sides S and T, incorporates material labeled as reels alongside those remixes, indicating varied source material within that portion of the set.

The format designation — listed as Vinyl, Vinyl, Vinyl, All Media — points to a release combining multiple vinyl records with at least one additional medium, though the precise contents of the non-vinyl component are not specified in the available data. Track durations are not listed.
