Atlantic Ocean
Waterfall 2002

Listening notes

Atlantic Ocean's "Waterfall 2002" is a vinyl release issued on Pegasus Records in 2002, carrying the catalog number PG 033. The record falls within the electronic and trance genres and presents three versions of the track "Waterfall 2002" across its two sides.

The A-side carries a single entry: the Woody van Eyden Remix, occupying the full side on its own. The B-side collects two versions, opening with the Equator Remix before closing with the Original Mix. The presence of the Original Mix alongside two distinct remixes gives the release a straightforward structure that allows the source material and its reworkings to sit on the same pressing.

The title itself signals a revisitation, with the year appended to what is presumably an earlier work. Whether this release was intended as a repackaging, an update, or simply a new iteration tied to a particular moment is not something the available information confirms, and any claim along those lines would require additional verification before publication.

As a vinyl release from 2002 in the trance space, the record fits within a period when twelve-inch formats remained a standard vehicle for club-oriented electronic music, with remix-led releases common across the genre. Beyond that general context, the specifics of how this release was received, distributed, or regarded are not supported by the facts on hand and should not be stated here without further sourcing.

Fact checkers should verify track durations, which are absent from the current data, as well as any personnel or production credits not listed above. The relationship between this release and any earlier version of "Waterfall" by Atlantic Ocean should also be confirmed independently before publication.
