Ayla Presents Yel
Sun Is Coming Out (Vinyl #1)

Listening notes

Released in 2002 on Unsubmissive Records, "Sun Is Coming Out (Vinyl #1)" by Ayla Presents Yel carries the catalog number USM 063-6 and sits within the electronic, trance, and progressive trance genres. The release is formatted as a vinyl single and presents three versions of the title track across two sides.

The A-side contains a single cut: "Sun Is Coming Out (Ayla's Uplifting Mix)," running at 8 minutes and 32 seconds. The B-side carries two versions — "Sun Is Coming Out (Vernon's World Remix)" at 7 minutes and 13 seconds, and "Sun Is Coming Out (Trip Mix)" at 4 minutes and 2 seconds. The designation "Vinyl #1" in the title suggests this release was issued as part of a multi-volume vinyl series, though additional volumes are not documented here.

The billing "Ayla Presents Yel" follows a presentational format common to electronic and trance releases of the period, where a primary artist or project introduces a featured act or collaboration under a distinct name. What that arrangement specifically involved in this case is not confirmed by the available facts.

With a total runtime across all three tracks of just under 20 minutes, the release offers meaningful variation in running length between versions — the A-side mix running more than twice the length of the Trip Mix on the B-side, which at just over four minutes falls considerably shorter than typical extended dance edits of the era.
