Ben Watt / Justin Martin
Buzzin' Fly Volume 01 CD - Vinyl Sampler

Listening notes

Buzzin' Fly Records, the label associated with Ben Watt, released a vinyl sampler tied to the Buzzin' Fly Volume 01 CD. Catalogued as 005BUZZ, the release pairs Ben Watt and Justin Martin as the credited artists and sits within the deep house and electronic genres.

The sampler is a two-sided vinyl pressing. The A-side carries "A Stronger Man," while the B-side presents "The Sad Piano" in a remix credited to Charles Webster. As a sampler format, the release was designed to complement the companion CD rather than stand independently, though the verified facts do not confirm the precise nature of that relationship beyond the title designation.

No release year is confirmed in the available documentation, and details regarding recording sessions, personnel beyond those named, pressing specifications, or production history are not established by the verified information. The tracklist contains no listed durations for either side.

Charles Webster's involvement as a remixer on the B-side is the sole production credit verifiable here beyond the primary artist pairing of Watt and Martin. Webster is a recognized name within deep house and electronic music more broadly, though any claims about his specific approach to this remix or its reception would go beyond what the facts support.

The catalog number 005BUZZ places this release within the Buzzin' Fly numbering sequence, suggesting it was among the label's earlier output, though the exact position in the release chronology cannot be confirmed without a verified year.
