Benjamin Diamond
Strange Attitude Vinyl Set Part 2 / 4

Listening notes

Benjamin Diamond's Strange Attitude Vinyl Set Part 2 / 4 was released in 2000 on Diamond Traxx, the catalog number logged as DIAM 004 LP DLX2. The release sits within the deep house, electronic, and house genres, and forms the second of a four-part vinyl set drawn from the Strange Attitude project.

The record carries three tracks across its two sides. The A-side is given over entirely to the title track, "Strange Attitude," which runs to seven minutes. The B-side splits between two pieces: "Joyride (Club Edit)" at six minutes and six seconds, followed by "The Rain" at four minutes and forty-four seconds. The designation of "Joyride" as a club edit is the only variant detail the label text confirms for this pressing.

As the second installment in a four-part series, the release reflects a format sometimes used in dance music to distribute album material across multiple vinyl volumes, allowing each record to be used independently in a DJ context while also functioning as part of a larger whole. The sequencing here — a single extended track on the A-side and two shorter pieces on the B-side — is consistent with that kind of practical consideration, though the specific reasoning behind the sequence is not documented in the available information.

Diamond Traxx served as the imprint for this release. Beyond the confirmed details of label, catalog number, year, format, and tracklist, further particulars about this pressing are not established in the source data and have been omitted from this draft accordingly.
