History - The Vinyl Collection

Listening notes

Released in 2016 on the Out Of Line label (catalog OUT 803 I 804), History - The Vinyl Collection is a box set by German darkwave and synth-pop act Blutengel. The release spans five vinyl records and organizes its content across sides labeled A through T, encompassing tracks drawn from across the group's catalog under the genre headings of darkwave, electro, electronic, and synth-pop.

The box set is structured around four named sections, each corresponding to a separate album or release: Child Of Glass, Seelenschmerz, Angel Dust, Demon Kiss, and Labyrinth. Each section occupies multiple sides of vinyl. Child Of Glass runs across sides A through D, with tracks including "Introduction," "Beauty Of Suffering," "Weg Zu Mir," and "Desire." The Seelenschmerz section fills sides E through H and includes titles such as "Seelenschmerz," "Die With You," and "Children Of The Night." Angel Dust occupies sides I through L, featuring tracks like "Vampire Romance Part 1," "Vampire Romance Part 2," "Black Wedding," and "Angel Of The Night." The Demon Kiss portion runs across sides M through P and includes "Solitary Angel," "Love Killer," and "Frozen Heart." Labyrinth closes the set across sides Q through T, with tracks such as "Into The Labyrinth," "Dreamland," "Lucifer," and "Escape (Outro)."

In total, the tracklist extends to over eighty individual titles spread across ten record sides, making this a substantial physical collection. Track durations are not listed in available documentation. This is an unreviewed draft; personnel, pressing details, and edition specifics should be confirmed before publication.
