Booka Shade
In White Rooms (Vinyl Two)

Listening notes

Released in 2006 on Get Physical Music, the release catalogued as GPM 045 presents Booka Shade's "In White Rooms" across two sides of vinyl, each carrying a distinct version of the track. Positioned as Vinyl Two within what appears to be a multi-part release, this pressing offers the Mexico Mix on the A-side at six minutes and twenty-eight seconds, followed by the Shinedoe Fusion Remix on the B-side, running seven minutes and two seconds.

Booka Shade is an act associated with the electronic, minimal, and tech house genres, and Get Physical Music is the label under which this material appeared. The Shinedoe Fusion Remix credits Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Shinedoe as the remixing artist, lending a second perspective to the source material across the B-side's seven-minute runtime.

The two-sided format is a familiar one for dance-oriented twelve-inch releases, offering a pair of extended versions suited to extended play contexts. At roughly six and seven minutes respectively, both tracks fall within the range commonly associated with club and DJ use, though this observation is based solely on their listed durations rather than any confirmed context of use.

As a catalog entry, GPM 045 sits within Get Physical Music's documented output from 2006. The label, founded in Berlin, has been associated with electronic music releasing throughout the 2000s, though specific claims about its standing or the reception of this particular release are beyond what the available facts can support.

This draft is unreviewed and should be verified against additional sources before publication. No claims have been made regarding sound quality, personnel beyond what is named in the tracklist, pressing details, rarity, or market value.
