Boza, John Dahlbäck
Los Mejores Tracks De Miami Winter Music Conference 2008 (Vinyl 1)

Listening notes

Released in 2008 on Vendetta Records, this vinyl release carries catalog number VENMX 890 (N) and forms part of a compilation series tied to the Miami Winter Music Conference of that year. The release brings together work from two artists — Boza and John Dahlbäck — across two sides of a single record, operating within the genres of electronic music, tech house, and techno.

The A-side presents "Twisted Mind" in a reworking credited to Alex Celler, subtitled as a Tech Dub, running at 8 minutes and 19 seconds. The B-side carries "Blink" in a remix by D.O.N.S. & DBN, identified as a Chainsaw Remix, with a duration of 7 minutes and 7 seconds. Both tracks are therefore remix versions rather than original productions, a format common to compilation and conference-adjacent releases of the period.

The Miami Winter Music Conference, held annually in Miami, Florida, was a prominent gathering within the electronic music industry, and releases bearing its name in this era often served as documentation of or promotional material connected to the event. Whether this release occupied that function specifically is not confirmed by the available information.

As the title designates this as "Vinyl 1," it appears to be the first in a multi-part release series under the same compilation umbrella, though details of subsequent volumes are not included here.

Vendetta Records, the issuing label, is identified on the release. No further verified information about the label's background or roster is available within the scope of this entry.

This draft reflects only the documented details of the release and should be reviewed against additional sources before publication.
