Carole & Tuesday
Special Vinyl

Listening notes

Carole & Tuesday's Special Vinyl, released in 2022 on the Flying Dog label under catalog number OCP-01-CT, collects five tracks across two sides of a standard vinyl record. The tracklist opens on the A-side with "Light A Fire" and "The Loneliest Girl," while the B-side carries three titles: "Give You The World," "All I See," and "Mother."

The release is catalogued under the genres of Funk / Soul and Pop, a pairing that positions it at a particular crossroads within those broad traditions. Whether that classification reflects the source material's actual sonic range or serves as a general commercial designation is something a listener would need to assess independently.

Flying Dog is a Japanese label with documented activity in the anime music sector, and the artist name Carole & Tuesday corresponds to the fictional musical duo at the center of the 2019 anime television series of the same name created by Shinichiro Watanabe and produced by Bones. That context is worth noting for collectors approaching this release, as it situates the record within a category of music produced for or alongside animated media rather than as a conventional studio album by a performing artist.

Track durations are not listed in the available documentation for this release, which limits what can be said about the record's total runtime or the relative weight of individual selections. No additional personnel, pressing, or production information has been verified at this stage.

For collectors, the catalog number OCP-01-CT and the 2022 release date are the most reliable identifying details currently on hand. Further research into pressing specifics, edition size, and physical variants would be necessary before a more complete entry could be finalized. This draft should be reviewed against primary source documentation before publication.
