Clan Of Xymox
Vinyl Box

Listening notes

Released in 2011 on Dark Side Records (catalog number DSR 024), the Clan Of Xymox Vinyl Box is a four-LP box set with an accompanying bonus EP, bringing the total physical format to five vinyl records. The set is catalogued under the genres Electronic, Goth Rock, and Rock.

The box is organized across three titled groupings — Hidden Faces, Creatures, and Notes From The Underground — each occupying a dedicated double-sided record, followed by a fourth record continuing the Notes From The Underground program. A separate bonus EP on sides G and H rounds out the package.

The Hidden Faces portion runs across sides A and B, opening with "Out Of The Rain" and closing with "The Story Ends," with track durations ranging from the brief "Wailing Wall" at 2:11 to "This World" at 6:36. The Creatures section, spread across sides C and D, includes longer pieces such as "Taste Of Medicine" at 7:48 and "Crucified" at 5:58, with eleven tracks in total. Notes From The Underground fills sides E and F with twelve tracks; "Anguish," at 8:51, is the longest individual track in the set, while "Into Her Web," at 2:56, is among the shortest on those sides.

The bonus EP on sides G and H contributes four tracks — "A New Dimension," "Consolation (Radio)," "Liberty (Greggrulermx)," and "The Second Time" — none of which carry listed durations in the available documentation.

In total the tracklist comprises more than forty individual entries, making this a substantial multi-record release. Prospective buyers and researchers should verify all details against a physical copy, as this draft has not yet been reviewed for accuracy.
