Contemporary Noise Sextet
Vinyl Collection

Listening notes

Contemporary Noise Sextet's Vinyl Collection, released on Denovali Records in 2012 under catalog number DEN143, is a box set compiling three separate vinyl releases from the Polish ensemble. Catalogued under contemporary jazz and jazz, the set spans six sides across three records, with matrix positions running from A through H, accommodating a total of thirty tracks spread across the three constituent works.

The first record collects material from Pig Inside The Gentleman, with ten tracks occupying sides A through D. Titles such as "Million Faces," "Army Of The Sun," "A Coin Perfectly Spinning," and "Even Cats Dream About Flying" fill those sides, closing on side D with "P.I.G." and "Sophie." The second record presents Theatre Play Music across sides E and F, its nine tracks bearing names that suggest a compositional context tied to theatrical work: "Main Tune," "Tango Lesson," "Gramophone," "Chinese Customer," and "Chilly Tango" among them. The third record, occupying sides G and H, collects the eight tracks of Unaffected Thought Flow, with titles including "Procession In The Fog (With The Barking Dogs)," "New Machine On The Dance Floor," and "No Marks, No Body, Not Guilty."

No track durations are documented in the available data. Personnel, recording dates, pressing specifications, and edition details are likewise not confirmed in the verified information and are therefore not addressed here.

For collectors and researchers, the DEN143 catalog number provides the most reliable point of reference when seeking documentation or cross-referencing with Denovali Records' broader discography. This draft requires human fact-checking before publication.
