Cortex Thrill
3.0 (Vinyl Album Sampler)

Listening notes

Cortex Thrill's 3.0 (Vinyl Album Sampler) was released in 2021 on Bonzai Vinyl under catalog number BV2021018. The release presents six tracks across two sides, spanning the electronic, house, progressive house, and techno genres.

Side A opens with "Quantum Pulse (Original Mix)" at 6:15, followed by "Levitania (Original Mix)" at 6:13, and closes with the shortest track on the record, "Stella Amnis (Original Mix)" at 5:06. Side B begins with "Eternia (Original Mix)" running 5:41, continues with "Singularity (Original Mix)" at 5:59, and concludes with "Deep Infinity (2020 Remake)" at 5:41. The total runtime across both sides amounts to approximately 35 minutes.

The designation of this release as a vinyl album sampler is worth noting for collectors and cataloguers. As a sampler format, it draws material from a broader body of work rather than constituting a standalone album proper, a distinction that may be relevant when situating it within the Cortex Thrill discography or within the Bonzai Vinyl catalog more generally. The presence of "Deep Infinity (2020 Remake)" on Side B also indicates that at least one track on this pressing is a reworked version of earlier material rather than a new composition originating in 2021, which collectors cross-referencing earlier releases may find useful context.

Bonzai Vinyl is the vinyl-focused imprint associated with the Belgian Bonzai label group, which has operated across various electronic music formats and sub-labels over the years. Beyond that general association, no further label-specific claims are made here pending additional verification.
