Crazy Penis
A Nice Hot Edit With...

Listening notes

Released in 2010 on Paper Recordings, "A Nice Hot Edit With..." is a vinyl release from Crazy Penis carrying the catalog number PAPERVINYL05. The record sits across the disco, electronic, and house genres, a combination that points to the edit culture those scenes have long shared as a common thread.

The release is a two-sider in the straightforward sense. The A-side presents "Drop Your Weapon" in a version shaped by Faze Action, while the AA-side carries "3 Play It Cool" reworked by Brennan Green. The use of "AA" rather than "B" for the second side is a detail worth noting for those cataloguing the release accurately.

Faze Action is a name associated with the UK dance music world, and Brennan Green has been active within New York house circles, though the specifics of their involvement with this particular project beyond their credited edit work are not documented here. The title of the release, with its "With..." trailing open, is consistent with the format of a split or collaborative edit record where guest contributors are foregrounded alongside the originating artist.

Paper Recordings is a UK-based label, and PAPERVINYL05 places this release as the fifth entry in what appears to be a dedicated vinyl imprint strand from the label, distinct from other catalog series they may have operated.

Duration information for neither track is available in the verified documentation for this release, and no matrix, pressing, or additional personnel data has been confirmed. Prospective buyers or researchers should verify those details independently before drawing conclusions about the physical object.
