Daft Punk
TRON: Legacy (Vinyl Edition Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Listening notes

Daft Punk's score for the 2010 film TRON: Legacy received a vinyl edition release through Walt Disney Records in 2021, catalogued as D003820601. The release spans four sides across the vinyl format, with a fifth track grouping designated as bonus content occupying side D.

The main program runs from side A through side C, comprising twenty-three tracks. These begin with "Overture" and proceed through titles closely tied to the film's narrative and setting, among them "The Son Of Flynn," "Recognizer," "Arena," "Rinzler," and "Adagio for TRON." Side C closes the primary sequence with "TRON Legacy (End Titles)" and "Finale." The bonus content on side D adds seven further tracks — "Sea Of Simulation," "Encom Part 2," "Encom Part 1," "Round One," "Castor," "Reflections," and "Sunrise Prelude" — bringing the release's total to thirty tracks.

The release is classified across several genres in its catalog listing, including Classical, Contemporary, Electronic, Score, Soundtrack, Stage and Screen, and Tech House. That breadth of genre attribution, while perhaps reflecting automated or broad classification practices rather than a precise editorial judgment, does point to something that the tracklist itself makes apparent: the score occupies an unusual position, drawing on orchestral and electronic frameworks within the same program. Titles such as "Adagio for TRON" and "Nocturne" share sequencing with "Derezzed" and "End Of Line."

No duration information is available for individual tracks in the source data for this release. Prospective buyers or researchers requiring track timings should consult additional sources before treating any figures as confirmed.
