De Mthuda
The Landlord Vinyl Cuts

Listening notes

De Mthuda's *The Landlord Vinyl Cuts* arrived in 2025 on SAMP Records, carrying the catalog number SAMP016. Released on vinyl, the record presents six tracks drawn from the amapiano and electronic genres, spread across two sides.

Side A opens with "Jola," followed by "Emlanjeni" and "Squdi Snyc." Side B carries "John Wick," "Maplankeng," and "iThuba." Track durations are not documented in available materials.

The title *The Landlord Vinyl Cuts* suggests a relationship to existing material formatted specifically for the vinyl medium, though the precise nature of that relationship — whether these are edits, excerpts, or selections from a larger project — is not confirmed by available information and should not be assumed.

SAMP Records, identified here by its SAMP prefix and sequential catalog numbering, is the issuing label. No additional label or distributor information is available in verified sources at this time.

Amapiano, one of the two listed genres, is a style rooted in South Africa that has drawn significant international attention over the roughly decade-long period preceding this release. De Mthuda is an artist operating within that scene, though specific biographical or discographical details beyond what is reflected in this release's metadata fall outside the verified scope of this entry and should be sourced separately before publication.

Collectors and researchers consulting this record should note that track timings, personnel credits, pressing details, and any supplementary release information are absent from currently available documentation. Fact-checkers are encouraged to verify the catalog number, label attribution, and tracklist spelling — particularly "Squdi Snyc," which may warrant confirmation against physical or official digital sources — before this entry is considered complete.
