Destination (10)
Vinyl Remixes

Listening notes

Released in 2016 on Pink Dolphin Music Ltd, *Vinyl Remixes* by Destination (10) is a single-format vinyl release carrying the catalog number PDM00025. The record sits within the electronic and synth-pop genres and presents eight versions of a track titled "Vinyl" spread across two sides.

Side A opens with "Vinyl (Destination's 12\" Extended Mix)," suggesting the act's own hand in reshaping the source material at an extended length. It is followed by the "Markymix," the "Shelter Extended Mix," and the "Drop The Needle Mix," the last of which carries a name that makes a direct, self-aware nod to the physical format on which it appears. The pairing of a track called "Vinyl" with the instruction to drop a needle onto an actual record gives that particular version a degree of conceptual tidiness worth noting.

Side B continues with four further interpretations: the "Mind Veneration Mix," the "GM Old Skool Mix," the "P Kambo Mix," and the "mOOger! Mix." The variety of mixer names across both sides indicates that multiple contributors were involved in producing the set, though no additional personnel details are confirmed by available information.

Track durations are not documented in the available data, so the running time of each version and of the release as a whole cannot be stated here.

The release is a straightforward example of a remix package issued on vinyl, a format whose continued presence in electronic and synth-pop contexts during the mid-2010s reflected broader patterns of physical release activity in those genres. Beyond what is set out above, further details about the release await verification.
