Devin Wild
The Vinyl Collection 01

Listening notes

Devin Wild's The Vinyl Collection 01, released in 2023 on Scantraxx under catalog number SCVC003, is a four-track vinyl release operating within the electronic and hardstyle genres. The record presents two tracks per side, with the A-side carrying "Mind Bending" at three minutes and forty-seven seconds and "Breathe" at three minutes and forty seconds. The B-side opens with "The Innergame" at four minutes and two seconds, followed by "Meltdown" at four minutes and one second.

The release sits within Scantraxx's vinyl catalog, identifiable by the SCVC003 designation, which places it as the third entry in what the catalog numbering suggests is a dedicated vinyl series from the label. Scantraxx is a label associated with the hardstyle genre, and this release reflects that context by packaging hardstyle material in a vinyl format.

The four tracks total approximately fifteen and a half minutes of runtime across both sides, with the B-side tracks running slightly longer on average than those on the A-side. The sequencing gives each side a relatively compact runtime, which is a practical consideration for this type of format and genre.

As a numbered entry in a series titled The Vinyl Collection, the release appears to be part of a structured effort by Scantraxx to issue material from artists in the hardstyle space on vinyl, with Devin Wild serving as the focus of this particular volume. Whether additional volumes in the series exist or were planned is not addressed by the available information.
