DJ Elvis & David DJ
Power Vinyl

Listening notes

Power Vinyl is a 2015 release by DJ Elvis & David DJ, issued through Bit Music under catalog number 72-088. The release was made available in file format and spans four tracks across a total runtime of approximately twenty-nine minutes.

The record falls within the electronic genres of Hard Trance and Makina, two styles that share roots in high-energy club music. Makina, in particular, is a subgenre closely associated with Spanish rave culture and is characterized by fast tempos and an aggressive, driving sound palette. Hard Trance similarly draws on the harder end of the trance spectrum, emphasizing rhythmic intensity over melodic softness.

The tracklist opens with the title cut, "Power Vinyl," running seven minutes and forty-four seconds, followed by "Gravitation" at eight minutes even — the longest track on the release. "Skunk Base" clocks in at six minutes and thirty-two seconds, with closer "Orbital Jump" rounding out the set at seven minutes and six seconds. The track lengths are consistent with extended dance edits typical of DJ-oriented material, where sustained running times allow for mixing flexibility.

Bit Music serves as the releasing label. The file-only format means this release exists without a physical pressing, placing it squarely in the digital distribution landscape that became increasingly common for electronic dance releases during the mid-2010s.
