DJ Hidden
The Words Below Limited Edition Vinyl Series Part 3

Listening notes

DJ Hidden's "The Words Below Limited Edition Vinyl Series Part 3" arrived in 2010 through the Berlin-based Ad Noiseam label, catalogued as ADN124. The release forms part of a numbered vinyl series, with this installment representing the third entry under that banner.

The record is a single-sided two-track affair, presenting work rooted in drum and bass and broader electronic music. The A-side carries "The Narrators (Eye-D Remix)" at six minutes and forty-six seconds, while the B-side presents "The Devil's Instant (DJ Hidden's Other Side Remix)" running seven minutes and six seconds. Both tracks are remix works, with the B-side credit noting a DJ Hidden alias — "Other Side" — as the remixing hand, suggesting the artist turned inward for at least one of the two reworkings on offer.

The framing of the release as a limited edition vinyl series is consistent with Ad Noiseam's documented approach to physical formats during this period. The label, founded by Nicolas Chevreux, built a catalog that placed emphasis on harder-edged and experimental electronic music, and DJ Hidden represented a recurring presence within that roster.

What the format itself communicates is straightforward: at roughly thirteen and a half minutes of combined playing time across two sides, this is a focused, purposeful release rather than a full-length statement. The series structure implies collectibility by design, positioning each installment as a discrete object within a larger sequence rather than a standalone document.

Beyond the confirmed catalog details, tracklisting, and label context, this draft does not speculate on pressing quantities, sonic character, or the reception the release may have found. Those elements remain outside what the available facts can responsibly support, and are left for the fact checker to assess before publication.
