DJ Manian Ft. Aila
Turn The Tide (Vinyl 3)

Listening notes

DJ Manian featuring Aila — Turn The Tide (Vinyl 3) was released in 2007 on the Zeitgeist label under catalog number 1749535. The release is a three-track vinyl single presenting multiple versions of the track Turn The Tide across its two sides.

The A-side carries a single version, the Bootleg Mix, running five minutes and sixteen seconds. The B-side collects two remixes: the Tune Up! Remix at five minutes and fifty-six seconds, followed by the Bastian van Shield Remix, the longest version on the record at six minutes and forty-eight seconds. The sequencing places all remix material on the B-side, giving the record a straightforward structure that separates the Bootleg Mix from the two alternate interpretations.

The release is catalogued across several genre tags — Electro, Electronic, Euro House, Hands Up, House, and Trance — reflecting the range of stylistic territory that the contributing remixers and the original production occupy within the broader electronic music landscape of the mid-2000s. The Hands Up designation in particular situates the release within a strand of European dance music that was commercially active during that period, sharing space with Euro House and Trance as overlapping genre categories common to German and broader continental club markets of the era.

As the third in a numbered vinyl series for this title, the release implies that earlier volumes exist under the same title, though the contents and configurations of those separate releases fall outside the scope of this entry.
