Disco Dreaming (The Black Vinyl Collection)

Listening notes

DJ Spen's *Disco Dreaming (The Black Vinyl Collection)* was released in 2000 on Black Vinyl Records under catalog number BVR CD001. The release is categorized under the genres of Electronic, Garage House, and House.

The CD compiles eleven tracks, several of which share thematic or musical connections suggested by their titles. The word "Midnight" appears across multiple entries — "Funk At Midnight," "Crazed Sax At Midnight (Militant Soul Re-Edit)," and "Midnight Beats" — while the "Trapped" theme surfaces twice, in "Trapped When U Dub Me" and "Trapped When U Touch Me (DJ Psycho Trap Mix)," pointing to alternate versions or edits of source material appearing on the same collection. Similarly, "Tedd's Beat Goes On (Tedd Patterson Mix)" and "And The Beat Goes On" may represent related material, though no further detail is confirmed here.

The tracklist credits additional collaborators by name in specific mixes. "Tedd's Beat Goes On" carries a Tedd Patterson Mix attribution, "Give Me Your Love" is credited to a Harley & Muscle Philharmonic Mix, "Crazed Sax At Midnight" is noted as a Militant Soul Re-Edit, and "Trapped When U Touch Me" carries a DJ Psycho Trap Mix credit. No additional personnel or production information beyond what appears in those track titles has been verified for this entry.

Track durations are not available in the verified data for this release.

The label name, Black Vinyl Records, is reflected in the collection's subtitle — *The Black Vinyl Collection* — suggesting the release was conceived as a label-identified compilation or showcase. No information about pressing quantities, regional distribution, or subsequent editions has been confirmed.
